Barry Ferguson, being an expert motorcycle racer Barry Ferguson has a long list of involvement with both sides of the motorcycle sport. As a rider Barry earned national "11" for motocross and national number"2" for ATV racing. Only a handful of Canadian riders have earned Gold medals at the International Six Day Enduro, Barry earned Bronze in 1985 and gold in Germany 1989. On the other side of the motorcycle sport Barry has been a rider sponsor, multi-brand shop owner, organizer of motocross races and has a history of building motocross tracks including Toronto Supercross tracks from 1992 thru 1998.
Of all the things Barry has done he gets the biggest kick out of doing the adventure rides. The smiles and grins of the riders make the whole exercise worthwhile. Prior to 2006 Barry would have said the Las Vegas Nevada Adventure was his favourite holiday but now Baja Mexico has moved into that spot and continued familiarization with GPS navigation adds to that enjoyment.

John and Joyce Ferguson had a dairy farm on the edge of Port Hope, Ontario, for 25 years. They have three children, Cheryl, Brenda and Barry. John and Joyce became involved in the motorcycle world through Barry. They helped to establish a practice track at their farm which led to the formation of the Lakeshore Dirt Riders Motorcycle Club, now more than 25 years in existence. When Barry mentioned a trip to Nevada in 2001 to transport motorcycles, they didn't hesitate as they love to travel. That inaugural trip has led to many more.
John and Joyce retired from farming and sold their farm at Port Hope in 1989 which led to John's next occupation of cross-border transporting which made the task of getting the correct paperwork for the border crossings much easier. This also helped with the planning of the Cliffshore Adventure Tour to Baja, Mexico in 2005. John and Joyce drove their van to the Baja to research the trip for the following February. They are enjoying retirement and presently live near Bewdley, Ontario
